How do I check the Daewoo battery manufacturing date?

The manufacturing date is written on two spots on a battery. The first is on the battery box, and the second is on the battery itself.

The date on the box is easy to read but sometimes the shop sellers will erase it to hide the fact that the battery is old. The date on the battery itself is coded so here is how you can read it.

To decode it you simply need to replace any alphabet with its number equivalent, for example, A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9, and J=0.

The code on the battery says 23I24, here I=9 and it is the month of manufacturing, so the date of manufacturing is September 23, 2023.

How to check Daewoo battery water level?

To check the water level, you need to uncap all the caps like in the image below. Then fill it will de-ionized water or distilled water. You can also buy this battery water from your local market.
