How to check the Volta battery manufacturing date?
Apart from the sticker on the battery box, the manufacturing date is also written as a tricky code on the warranty card and the battery itself. To decode it you simply need to replace any alphabet with its number equivalent, for example, A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9, and J=0.
So if the code is AFX9H2 145 then the manufacturing date will be which is August 09, 2022. We will ignore the AFX and 145 in this code, 9 is the date, H is the eighth month of August, and 2 is the last digit of the year so 2022. Also please match all three dates (on the box, on the warranty card, and engraved on the battery top) to ensure that the battery is in its original box and has not been tampered with.
Note: Please make sure you check the battery manufacturing date before buying Volta battery. Do not buy battery older than 1-2 months from its manufacturing date because you might be losing that time from your warranty.
